New Business Opens Its Doors on May 24
Libertyville, IL - Spring has arrived in full bloom, and Lambs Farm is thrilled to announce the grand opening of our brand-new Greenhouse on Saturday, May 24, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We invite the community to join us for this exciting event and be part of a meaningful new chapter at Lambs Farm. The Greenhouse marks the launch of a dynamic program where participants—adults with developmental disabilities—will gain hands-on experience and learn valuable skills for employment in local nurseries and plant-based businesses. As they grow and care for a variety of plants, the public will have the opportunity to purchase the products they cultivate.
Guests will find a colorful and fragrant selection of seasonal flowers, including angelonia, bacopa scopia, calibrachoa, impatiens, coleus, lantana, ipomoea, lobelia, petunia, and torenia, to name just a few. Choose from vibrant hanging baskets or mix and match individual planters to create your own unique garden display at home. For those looking to grow their own produce, The Greenhouse will offer a great selection of vegetable starters including tomatoes, peppers and eggplant, as well as fresh herbs like cilantro and parsley.
In addition to plants, the Greenhouse also features a variety of garden décor and growing supplies. Every purchase made at the Greenhouse will not only help your garden grow but will also support the mission of Lambs Farm: helping people with developmental disabilities lead productive, happy lives while connecting with the human spirit in us all.
