Lambs Farm's new President & CEO, Kathy Buresch (middle), with Lambs Farm Participants.
With profound gratitude for her remarkable 21 years of service, the Lambs Farm Board of Directors announces the retirement of the President and CEO, Dianne Yaconetti. “Dianne’s extraordinary love for Lambs Farm and our Participants has been the foundation for her many achievements spanning two decades. It has been a privilege to work with her,” says Board Chair Robert Neiman.
Helping adults with developmental disabilities lead productive, happy lives—the Lambs Farm mission—has been at the heart of Yaconetti’s tenure. She led the development of new residential choices and vocational options for Lambs Farm Participants, the launch of a new brand image and Visitors Center, the establishment of a Wellness Center, and the creation of a Tribute Garden. Before joining Lambs Farm as the President and CEO, Yaconetti served for several years on the Board of Directors.
We are delighted to announce that Kathleen Buresch will be the new President and CEO of Lambs Farm. Kathy has served Lambs Farm as the Director of Operations, Marketing & Communications since 1999. In that role, she has led the teams responsible for the Farmyard, Magnolia Cafe, and other Lambs Farm businesses, demonstrating a passion for excellence and a deep respect for and commitment to serving the Lambs Farm community. She is an innovator who has grown diverse income-generating initiatives that engage visitors and employ and inspire Lambs Farm Participants.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to serve Lambs Farm as our President and CEO,” says Buresch. “Lambs Farm is a well-respected organization with a talented team, dedicated donors and partners, and a long history of creating opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities. My goal in leading our organization is to build on our co-founders legacy and ensure a vibrant future for Lambs Farm and the remarkable men and women we serve.”
