Greenhouse opens for the season, events to follow
Libertyville, IL - Guests can stock up on beautiful flowers for the season and support over 225 adults with developmental disabilities when they shop at Lambs Farm's Greenhouse.
The Greenhouse, located behind the Dogwood Garden & Pet Center, opens on Saturday, April 30. Hours are Tuesday-Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
From annuals and perennials to hanging baskets and succulents, the Greenhouse will have a wide variety of plants for the public to choose from.
Master Gardeners from University of Illinois Extension will be visiting Lambs Farm on Saturday, May 14 and Sunday, May 22 for the annual Potting Party. These special events allow guests to learn from expert gardeners. They bring their containers to our Greenhouse to receive guidance as they create a beautiful pot for their front porch. The best part is they leave the mess with us! Soil prices start at $1 + the cost of plants.
All proceeds from our Greenhouse and Potting Party events help support the programs and services that make such a difference in the lives of the remarkable men and women of Lambs Farm.
