New event celebrates history and special bonds
Libertyville, IL - Lambs Farm is excited to host a new event, DOGwood Day, on Saturday, August 7 from 10am to 3pm.
In 1961, Co-Founders Bob Terese and Corinne Owen were determined to start a business where adults with developmental disabilities could thrive. They ultimately decided to create a pet shop due the unconditional love and forgiving nature of animals.
As we approach our 60th anniversary, we believe our Co-Founders would be proud knowing we are still carrying out their vision as Lambs Farm Participants continue to find meaningful work in what is now our Dogwood Garden & Pet Center and help thousands of people find their best friend with four paws.
DOGwood Day is an opportunity to celebrate Lambs Farm's rich history and the special connection between mankind and dogs. The event will feature demonstrations, vendors, scavenger hunts, music, a beer and food tent, bone bar and more.
Event information and sponsorship opportunties are available at https://lambsfarm.org/event/dogwood-day/.
